Design & Build - Design

All of the designs that Xd produce are bespoke and tailored to meet our clients requirements and specifications.

We employ our own in-house Landscape Designers who work closely with the Design Consultants and our experienced Technical Department to ensure they provide design ideas and a concept to satisfy and exceed your expectations, which can also be safely constructed.

Your designer will initially draw up a concept design for you using AutoCAD with the survey information, the design brief and the photographs which will have been taken by your Design Consultant at your initial consultation, which is free of charge.

If you decide to go ahead to a second appointment, your CAD design will be presented to you with a costing (subject to changes after a 2nd survey) and a consideration of landscaping products. Where applicable, a planting plan will also be drawn up. There is a £50 administration fee to view your design payable prior to your second appointment, which is a contribution to the costs of production. Payment of the administration fee does not give you title to the design.

At the second appointment you will have the opportunity to discuss the design with your Design Consultant and make any changes. If you decide to ahead with us, we ask you to sign an 'Intent to Proceed' and pay a deposit of £500 (this is deductible from you final project value).

After signing an 'Intent to Proceed' the design will be yours to keep. A more detailed survey will be carried out by our Technical Department in order to take accurate measurements and laser levels, and then a Construction Drawing will be drawn up.
