The Xd Process

We provide a free initial consultation at your home to discuss your project.

If you would then like us to move onto the design stage we will ask for a £50 administration fee to view the design, which is payable at your first appointment

We will agree a second appointment time which will normally take place two weeks after your initial consultation to allow adequate design time, in order to discuss your project in more detail. Please note all projects have a minimum contract value of £3,500 inc vat.

We will develop a unique design concept (the drawing copy remains the property of Xd until an 'Intent to Proceed' payment is received) for your consideration.

We will provide an outline estimate for the design concept presented.

During your presentation we will provide you with a range of product and feature choices for your consideration, and ask that you decide which you would like to use. This will enable Xd to provide an accurate cost to you after a 2nd survey has been carried out.

Following a commitment from you to proceed, we will carry out a detailed second survey to finalise the scope of works and set a provisional start date. The Intent to Proceed payment is deductible from the total cost of your project. Please bring a form of payment for your reservation fee (£500 - project s below £30,000) to your presentation meeting.

You will be asked to schedule a date for 2nd survey and a further appointment to sign off all project details. (Surveys carried out on Tuesday and Wednesday).

At the sign off meeting you will be provided with a contract and a copy of your original concept with amendments highlighted.

Following signature of the contract we will develop the design concept into a detailed construction/planting plan.

When these plans are complete we will send you copies to view. If you are happy with the final plans we will ask you to sign one copy and return it to us ready for the project to start.
